404 (Self Portrait)
This is a self portrait from the future, because I have a lot of packing and shipping to do. Also, if you did want one of the Mega Man prints but just hadn't gotten around to it yet, it's time hurry up and get one, because after this initial run (which is nearly sold out) they won't be available again for awhile, if ever.

403 (Green on Green)
This is sort of the third in a set, after This one and This one. Maybe I will make little prints out of them? Maybe.

Of all the remarkable things to happen! I have just somehow been featured on Kotaku, which means a Lot to me since that is basically the Main Video Game Blog that this guy checks. Thanks a ton Kotaku!

402 (Ugh seriously? more video game stuff)
Yeah, more videogame stuff. This is a schematic print for Proto Man's armcannon, so Whatever to people who did not spend their whole childhood/adolescence/late-teens/early-to-mid-20's/however-old-you-are-now playing videogames.

401 (More Mega Man All the Time)
This is a piece I did in hopes of being included in this project. It's similar to something I did a few weeks ago, but I feel this is much, much better.

Science Fiction!
I'd like to show off this super wonderful print of the Boston Science Fiction Film Festival Logo I made. I'm going to be selling a few of these on Etsy - they're nicer than most of the posters I sell (sorry that I can't always afford to make super-nice prints of things) - they're on super heavy paper with a silk finish, all are signed and numbered (which is a subtle way of saying there are only a limited number of them). Please take a look if they sound like your "Thing."

400 (400!)
This is the 400th Robot on this website. Thanks for coming back after all these robots! Here's to 400 more...

399 (Looking for a Bot with Blue Grid)
Did...did you get the joke? Blue Grid? like True Grit? It's funny because there is NO CONNECTION between this robot and those films, or the book upon which they were based. Heh?
Also I'm having kind of a little Etsy Sale, some stuff is cheaper, other stuff is the same price - I am doing this because I spent too much money on vacation, which I think is part of the definition of "vacation."

398 (Stuff I Forgot to Post Here)
I drew this yesterday while I was at breakfast. It was the sort of restaurant that has butcher paper and crayons on the table, which is to say, it was a diner in West Hollywood that rarely caters to children, as far as I could tell. I am no longer out of town anymore.

396 (IBM's Watson)
I made this in honor of the upcoming best-ever machine v man trilogy of Jeopardy! episodes. If you think it is awesome, you can get one here. If you don't know what Watson is or haven't heard about how people will be dying at the feet of a machine on Jeopardy then read about it here.
If you like the poster it's available to purchase here.

395 (V-Day Cards, Redux)
Remember a few days ago when I made This and claimed it was a failed attempt at a Valentine's day card? I wasn't kidding, that was the actual truth, not a joke. I wanted to make something a little less cutesy than what I would later wind up with. This was pretty much the idea:
So, it's kind of twisted for a Valentine's day card, but I figure some of you are probably with me on this one, so I made an Etsy listing for them just in case...

[snowed in]
I made a print of that snowy robot from a couple days ago, in honor of being buried under a foot-and-then-some of snow. It's on Etsy here, it looks like this:
There's only one, there will be only one, when it's gone it's gone.

391 (Yellow and Black)
I guess I only want to do things that have a couple of colors lately? Unrelated: you should vote for Film Forager over at this poll regarding movie blogs. I can guarantee you that it is 100% a good idea.
Also, nobody has bought any postcards?
Seriously, a lot of postcards
Are all available at Etsy now. Please check them out!

NEW Postcards! Free Stuff! Exclamation Points!
Check it out, this 9-pack of postcards (most of which are brand new designs) is at Etsy for $10. "Yeah, ok Miles, you did some postcards - whatever," I can hear you saying to yourself, out loud, at your computer. That's fine, but listen: If you spend more than $15 at The Robot Etsy (excluding/before shipping, without any coupon offers) you can have a 9-pack of postcards for free. "What? Isn't that a ten-dollar value?" Yeah it is, stop talking out loud at your computer and check it out.

389 (Re-Emerging)
Here is an old enemy, making its first appearance in this new year. It's not really...refined, but it was a nice change of pace after painstakingly moving anchor points around in Illustrator for countless hours over the last few days.
Flubbing 2011
I am off to a bad start this year, huh? 4 days, one robot - that's not a ratio I want to think about. Anyway, the reason I've missed the last couple days is because I spent a Lot of time working on a design I hope will be selected for this year's Boston Science Fiction Film Festival. You may recall the same thing happening around this time last year. I certainly recall how generous the fans of this site were with their praise on the contest entry, and should a similar system of "voting" exist this year I may call upon you guys again. ANYWAY, here is what I've come up with this year, although the colors may change at the whim of the festival's coordinator, a prospect that pains me deeply:

388 (Happy New Year)
Happy new year, everyone. I thought I'd be able to finish the series of paintings yesterday, back in 2010, but I was wrong. But here they are now! Also, I'd like to thank everyone who ordered robot stuff from me in December, it was my most successful month on Etsy ever, ever, and I really appreciate it. There's still lots of stuff available over there, including the trio of paintings above.
