201 (Guest Week Begins!)

Hello. This robot (and any other ones that have this image at the top of them) are very special because I didn't have anything to do with them. Other people did - other people who like this website. Or maybe they don't - but they do visit it. "Why are other people doing robots for this website?" you may ask. Because I have already done 200, and that means that I am tired. Also, I am out of town on a vacation (you can't call it 'Spring Break' when you're no longer in school), so I'm not even around to do robots. Fortunately some wonderful regulars came forward and contributed the cool stuff you'll get to see over the course of this week.
Anyway. The first submission I received came from my friend Audrey, who used to* call me "robot" in high school. Here is the explanation she wrote for this familiar robot, reproduced here because I am far too tired to summarize it for you.

Here's my guest drawing for your website. I hope you like it! I really did it just to try drawing Oliver [ed. note: this is a baby that I haven't met yet and I feel bad about that], but couldn't think of a robot to put him onto. I'm not very good at drawing robots from scratch, and clearly not good at robots who exist already, but here goes.

*Which is to say, at least once.
