So last night I had that dream - you know, the one everyone has - where one's teeth won't stay inside their head. Thing is, I'd never had this dream before, and despite being aware of it, I certainly wasn't prepared for it. Also, it wasn't so much that my teeth were falling out, it was that they'd taken on the consistency of brittle protein-based organic material. Like, imagine a malnourished person's fingernails and you're about 90% of the way there. Anyway, you're welcome for telling you these things!________________

"As post-singularity homo sapiens technilis the crudeness of this design is more than obvious. Behold the decay of the outer casing. This was probably a warrior droid from before the Network Unification ended the wars. Utterly harmless now, it -" A hand shot up, cutting off the pompous lecturing. The iron fingers tightened. They still had spines. There was a satisfying snap. And the old world met the new.
